EU - Central Asia Young Leaders' Conference

Shavkat HAMROYEV, Minister of Water Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

"Water resources serve as a unifying factor for the five countries of Central Asia. At today’s conference, we will collaboratively seek solutions to the existing challenges and issues in this sector.We are encouraged by the large number of youth pursuing education in water management. We would be delighted if our young people choose to work alongside us in the future.

Uzbekistan is increasingly integrating market relations into water management. Public-private partnerships are being established to enhance water governance. We invite all youth to engage in practical training, where they will become closely acquainted with water distribution, monitoring processes, and the existing frameworks for utilizing water resources."
